Withinfields School

In Autumn 2008, children from Withinfields School in years 2 and 3 spent some time with Trees of Light collecting tree seeds. Each child then planted two acorns in peat pots which were labelled with the child's name. These seeds will be looked after at the Trees of Light Tree Nursery over the winter. When the seeds start to germinate, the children will come along and watch the progress of their seedling and later in the year pot it on to a larger pot which will be transferred to the outside storage areas. The children will watch their tree mature and eventually be able to plant it in it's permanent position.
